Art Therapy

lotusdriveArt therapy is one of the primary healing methods I offer. Because making art has always played (and continues to play) a major role in my own personal growth, I understand its healing capacity firsthand. By working with art materials alongside an art therapist, reflecting upon the creative process, and relating to the finished product, you can increase self-awareness, cope with symptoms, and enjoy the life-affirming delight of creation. The art process begins with the nebulous ingredients of emotions, thoughts, ideas, and unconscious material. Through the application of art materials, these unseen entities solidify and manifest as concrete shape and form. As an art therapist, I am extensively trained to guide you through the process of interpreting your own personal meaning from the art you produce and integrating these newfound discoveries into your life.

When engaging in art therapy, be assured that no artistic experience or proficiency is required. Only an open mind.
